Breakfast, pool, room. Even got towels for the pool. Our lady host was very hospitable.
There was absolutely nothing to complain about.

Special stay

We had a great stay at Residence Vive La Vie. The room was lovely, the service was fantastic. Every morning we got freshly made breakfast, delicious. We have enjoyed the stay unequivocally and will definitely come again!

Luxury quiet and kind professional staff

Once again we have visited the Residence and it is getting better every time. It is a luxury place, feels like home and it is very quiet only 500 m from the village. Beautifull garden with pool. Very kind and professional staff and a great manager! I can recommend this place and you will not be disappointed.

Wauw! What a great place to stay! This is a 5 star Residence in beautifull Franschhoek. Its luxery with great eye for detail. Professional staff, it is clean. Beautifull garden with very nice swimmingpool . This is the best I have ever seen. I can only advice you to go there and stay for a fee nights. I will return to Residence VivalaVie

What a lovely B & B! Rooms are spacious and newly renovated. The house has 5 rooms so if you are with a group of friends you will have the place to yourselves. Lovely pool and veranda to chill at. Short walk into town. Lovely English breakfast and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

This was the most perfect place to stay while wine tasting. Peter greeted us with a class of champagne and showed us to our pool front room, we another bottle of wine was waiting for us. The breakfast was fantastic, location is perfect (wine train goes right down the street), and the room was comfortable with beautiful decor.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich mit einem Glas Sekt empfangen, ruhig und ohne Zeitdruck wurde alles erklärt und gezeigt. Immer wieder, ohne aufdringlich zu sein, wurde nach Befinden und eventuell notwendiger Unterstützung gefragt. Haus und Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll, aber auch zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Es fehlt nichts, auch an die Flasche Wein im Kühlschrank ist gedacht. Nespresso Maschine im Zimmer, Kapseln werden bei Bedarf nachgefüllt. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und mehr als ausreichend. Kurz und knapp: Sehr zu empfehlen.

Geweldig fijn verblijf, super om van hieruit Franschhoek en Stellenbosch te bezoeken. Franschhoek op loopafstand 12min. Stellenbosch 25 min met auto! Verder vriendelijk en attend personeel, mooie ruime kamers. Paar kleine details (blonde dame achter het buro mag wat attenter zijn en iets van koffie in gasten verblijf kunnen beter als je een keer overdag in het verblijf blijft. Maar dat is enkel als je er waarde aan hecht! Totaal echt fijne tijd gehad!

SENSACIONAL!!! De cara na chegada já assustamos com a beleza do lugar, tamanho dos quartos, luxo da instalação, bom gosto da decoração, nunca vi lugar tão impecável....... para deixar tudo ainda melhor, Peter (educadissimo!!!!) nos recebeu com taças de espumante! Na apresentação dos quartos (o meu o mais "simples" e dos meus pais um maior) nos arrependemos de ficar apenas 2 dias e não uma semana! A localização é muito boa, local lindo e seguro. A cama do quarto é uma maravilha, tem roupões quentes e fofinhos, o quarto é enorme, e olha que acho que era o menor que tem na residencia! O café da manhã é maravilhoso, é feito na hora e tem opções saudáveis!! Tudo limpinho, cheiroso e confortável....... até o body lotion é bom kkkkkk Enfim, muita beleza, conforto, bom gosto e tudo de bom! A vista da casa e a área de piscina são muuuuuuito maravilhosas, pela que estava frio, deve dar pra curtir muito no verão!! Para completar, as visitas às vinicolas de Franschoek foram as melhores e mais bonitas que ja fui na vida, não deixem de ir na Vrede en lust, delair graff, boschendal e na grande provence!!! Congratulations Peter and all of the staff, for all the care with the residence and the guests, I want to return and indicate for all!!! Thank you!

My wife and I finished our 2 week holiday in SA at this lovely property. From the first moment on arrival Peter and the team made the two of us very welcome and ensured everything we needed was catered for. We would recommend you look no further if you are planning on staying in Franschhoek, thank you again Peter for completing our stay!

Fantastic, best accomodation in franschoek!

Fantastic accomodation, personalized service and luxurious. The added personal touch really went a long way. Felt very welcome by Annelise who provided us with champagne on arrival, showed us our bedroom ( pre heated to correct temperature), explained where everything was and how things worked. Bed was super comfy, waterfall shower amazing! Electric blankets to top it off as well! Breakfast was an experience in itself, pre light fire to heat the room, extra comfy breakfast chairs, great personal service by Annelise, angel and Sonia. Very high quality food, cooked and prepared perfectly! the interior of the Propety is decorated immaculately, it was a really wonderful 5 star experience and wouldnt hesitate to go back and visit again!

Located in quiet location only 10 minutes walk from centre of town. Very well managed and staff are excellent. Very comfortable suite and beautiful breakfast is prepared daily. Can’t fault it.

Peter & his team were oh so welcoming. Beautiful sparking wine upon arrival. Fantastic breakfast! We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for a rainy day in Franschhoek! (just wish we could have taken advantage of the POOL!)

Lovely stay at this gorgeous hotel -- more like a B&B. We had a private suite in the back of the house, right next to the pool. The room was extremely comfortable! The breakfast served in the morning was just lovely. The setting couldn't be more beautiful, and it was warm enough for us to take a dip in the pool! Hotel is a short and safe 10-minute walk from Franschhoek's main street with shops and restaurants. Definitely recommend.
