Breakfast was fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the beautiful location met the experience even more enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning at the Guesthouse before going on our daily outings. The bed was very comfortable, and the area was peaceful, quiet and felt very safe.

The accommodation was beautiful and very clean. The room was spacious and had a lovely patio. The pool area was fantastic and spotless — I saw the staff cleaning and taking care of it every day.

Breakfast was a very nice addition, and the staff were incredibly attentive. The best part was that the accommodation is located in a very quiet area, yet still so close to the main street. The Wine Tram station was literally just a 6-minute walk away.

I truly loved my stay and would happily return!

We were in Franschhoek to sample wine tasting, and Vive la Vie was only 10 minutes down the hill to the famous Wine Tram and only a short walk further into the town.
Exceptionally clean and well presented, the room was very comfortable and welcoming. Highlights have to be the relaxing pool area and the fabulous breakfast!
Staff could not do enough to help you and were exceptionally friendly – a great place to base yourself in wine country!

Perfect accommodation to explore Franschhoek Huguenot Street (a nightlife area with restaurants) and the Wine Tram on foot. We particularly enjoyed the pool area and the extensive breakfast selection.

The rooms are wonderful and very spacious, the whole atmosphere is just beautiful. We were greated very personally and the breakfast was just amazing.

It is a wonderful spot to stay in Franschhoek, a bit away from the Main Street but in close walking distance to all the restaurants.

Lovely B&Bclose to the Wine Tram and the centre of Franschhoek. The host, Peter, and his staff were so friendly and welcoming, and they made our stay very relaxing and most enjoyable. Lovely spacious and contemporary room with beautiful sculptures and pictures. The bed was extremely comfortable with fluffy towels and toiletries. Breakfasts were delicious with a good selection of hot and cold choices, which set us up for the rest of the day.

The wine area is a great area to explore, and Vive La Vie Residence was a superb choice of accommodation.

Superb accommodation with a very special, private atmosphere. Peter was there every morning for breakfast and greeted all the guests personally. Annelise and her team took great care of us and conjured up a superb breakfast. Superbly maintained grounds and only a few minutes' walk from the town centre and the wine tram. We felt completely at home and can highly recommend this accommodation!
